WE ARE GLAD YOU’RE HERE
Our purpose is to help others find direction in life, family, and faith through intentional Christ centered relationships.
WE ARE EXCITED TO MEET YOU
Compass is a group of people in the process of learning to live the best life through fully following Jesus. No matter what questions you have, what beliefs you hold, or what experiences you’ve had with church, you’re welcome here.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
You will experience a welcoming environment, engaging worship and a thought-provoking message. At Compass we also connect through Compass Groups and serving at church and in our communities. We believe that real community is formed this way and that people can start to truly care for each other when we connect, grow, serve, give, and go.
We desire to see lives positively impacted by Christ-centered relationships and we use messages, videos and music to help facilitate that. Come and join us for a Sunday gathering, get connected through Compass Groups and start serving through the many opportunities at Compass.
WHERE DO WE MEET?
Compass is located in the northern area of Frederick County, Virginia. Cross Junction to be exact. Our meeting location is in the Lake Holiday Clubhouse located on 1045 Lakeview Drive Cross Junction, VA. Lake Holiday is a private gated community. For those living outside Lake Holiday, one must RSVP before entering the gates on Sunday morning.
WHEN SHOULD I GET THERE?
Our Sunday service begins at 10AM. We recommend getting here 15 to 20 minutes early to account for parking and finding a seat. If you have kids, please allow for extra time to get them signed in to their classes.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Most people dress casually—jeans are a pretty common clothing choice around Compass—but you can wear anything you feel comfortable in.
BRING YOUR WHOLE FAMILY
Family is a big deal at Compass. We have taken extra measures to make sure our campus is safe for you and for anyone you may bring – young and old. Your safety is extremely important to us.
When you come to Compass, your children are more than welcome to stay with you during our services. We do, however believe your children will love our age appropriate Compass Kids services. Our Compass Kids classrooms are staffed with trained & background checked volunteers.
WHERE DO MY KIDS GO?
All are welcome to be a part of our worship service. But we also have exciting environments for your children and students that take place simultaneous to worship. A nursery is provided for children from 0-2 years of age. Beginning at age 2-5th grade, we teach through interactive Large Group videos, and live teaching. We encourage you to bring your child to the same gathering each week to help your kids build consistent friendships with peers and leaders. Please look for a friendly First Time Guests Check-in station. There you will find a Guest Services Crew member to check your child(ren) into our programs. You will receive a name tag for your child with a matching identification pick up tag. Then you will be escorted to your child’s class.
WHERE DO MY TEENS GO?
Youth 6th-12th grades are encouraged to attend the worship service with their families. We believe worshiping God with your family is critical in their spiritual development. Many of our youth also serve during the Sunday morning services.
Compass YouthWHAT HAPPENS THE REST OF THE WEEK?
