COMPASS LIFE FAITH DIRECTION
We are a church that believes that the life we live here on earth is filled with challenges and adventures. It is our passion and mandate from God that we personally and corporately seek life-direction from God. This desire is for those who have been called to serve in our homes and communities that we are a part of.
We are a collective of households within a church. Our households are, however, not mini-churches but actual representations of the church within our very own personal homes and communities. We believe that growth as a church only occurs when we take personal responsibility to become emotionally and spiritually whole.
As a church, we believe that we have been unconditionally loved by our creator. In turn we also must be and show God’s unconditional love to others. This action will manifest itself in many different forms but always resonating from the love we first received from God. The world will know us by our love. (John 13:35)
As a church, we believe we must be at the very core relational — to God and those whom He created for His pleasure. God has been partnering with humankind since the creation of the earth. In light of that core truth, we will always prioritize our ministries around relationship.
CONNECTING WITH GOD AND COMMUNITY
As a church, we also value our connection to God. God personally breathed life and made us in His image. We are connected. This core value will cause us to celebrate this connection and continually seek out how to live this in our personal and corporate world. In doing so we will represent our Creator to a lost and hurting world.
HEALING EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL
As a church, we believe God created us for something very extraordinary. We also believe that because of sin we are born into a broken world. But even through its brokenness, God is very much at work redeeming the lost and separated. We believe that God has called us to be an intentional resource for emotional and spiritual healing.
